Low-Iron Glass

In contrast, low-iron Glass eliminates the green cast familiar with clear Glass and can be used as a substitute for clear Glass and other more specialized applications. Low-iron glass is often used:

• Where clarity and connectivity between spaces are important
• Where the project requires maximized views from the inside-out
• For interior features such as railings, partitions, and display cases

As part of the façade of a building, Glass provides transparency to let sunlight in and to let people see out. Solar control facades are aesthetically ambitious components. For large objects, it is recommended to manufacture sample elements of the insulating Glass and the balustrade glass (in the original structure and with the actual glass thicknesses).
